Call for Paper
The 2nd Call-for-Paper of JSST2017 can be obtained from HERE “JSST2017_2ndCFP”.
All conference papers, included for the symposiums and the organized sessions, must be done through EasyChair and submitted by
June 30, 2017 July 14, 2017 (Extended).
Call for Contributed Papers:
Papers are invited in the form of regular manuscripts. Papers must conform to the submission policy, described below, requiring that all manuscripts be in 1-column format and meet strict page limits.
Call for Symposiums and Organized Sessions:
Symposiums can be organized to include sufficient number of papers, a plenary talk, invited talks and tutorials, so to provide an excellent opportunity for researchers, developers, and users to share their great experience and knowledge of modeling, simulation and scientific computing areas.
Organized sessions usually consist of 5-6 papers presenting a unifying theme from a diversity of viewpoints. Proposals must clearly describe the motivation and relevance of the session.
Symposiums and Organized Session proposals must be accompanied by full versions of each paper, which will be individually reviewed together with the proposal itself. Individual papers may be removed from a proposed session and replaced by appropriate contributed papers. In case an entire proposed session is rejected, selected papers may be accepted as contributed ones.
The organizers should fill out JSST 2017 Symposium/Organized Session Proposal Form with the relevant session title, reviewers to be served for reviewing the paper submitted to the corresponding session, what kind of audience is target for this session, and the objectives and motivation to organize the session. After filling all out, please send the form to the JSST 2017 committee (firstname.lastname@example.org) via E-mail.
Manuscripts accept from 1 page to 4 pages (standard: 2 pages) of an A4-sized PDF file with the following Paper Format Templates.
Preparation for Presentation
Authors making presentations at the conference should plan on bringing their own notebooks/tablets/laptops for their presentations. Although the projectors used in the sessions will have multiple input capabilities (VGA is standard. HDMI is also available in the almost rooms.) and the conference organizers will have only standard VGA and HDMI cable, presenters should plan on also bringing their own adapters for their presentation devices if necessary.
No laser pointers are prepared in the rooms. It is highly recommended to show up in your session room 10 minutes before the session starts. You should plan on test the connection of your device with the projector in the room.
The duration of a presentation slot is 60 minutes for Plenary Talks, 30 minutes for Invited Talks and Tutorials, 20 minutes for the presentations in General and Organized Sessions, and 12 minutes for the presentations in Student Symposium. The duration includes the time for presentation and discussions.
